Lena Sensitive Cup
- Developed for Sensitive Anatomies
- Ideal for Teens and Adult Users
- Made in California
Lena Sensitive was developed for users with more sensitive anatomies or with sensitive bladders.
Lena Sensitive is perfect for users of all ages, experience level and physique and offers the same 12h protection as our classic model.
Lena Sensitive is an ideal partner for your Lena Classic and can offer you further relief from cramps during your most painful days.
Most people can wear either size Lena Cup but choose one over the other primarily based on flow amount, cervix height and general physique. Unlike other brands, at Lena we do not believe that age and birthing history play a significant role in choosing a menstrual cup. Mothers with multiple births are happily using LENA Small while teenagers, with a heavy flow, choose LENA Large.
Lena Small is ideal for users with a Normal flow and Lena Large is suited for people with a Heavy flow. You can visit our Sizing Guide page for further guidelines.
LENA SMALL FOR SENSITIVE ANATOMIES
One of the smallest menstrual cups on the market, Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for individuals with sensitive anatomies, especially more sensitive bladders. Our sensitive cup is also a great companion to our classic Lena Cup for your first and more sensitive period days
A GENTLER OPTION
Made of slightly softer silicone than our classic Lena Cups, Lena Sensitive is still perfectly suited for all physical activities and offers a comfortable and leak-free period. Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for users of all ages and body types
AS NATURE INTENDED
Abnormal pap smears, rashes and yeast infections have been linked to the use of pads and tampons. Choose a healthier period – Lena Cups collect only your blood without drying out your vagina
SENSITIVE AND TRUSTED
Lena Large Sensitive has the same high collection capacity as our classic Lena Large Cup and allows for users with sensitive anatomies to have a more comfortable period
SIZING BASED ON FLOW AMOUNT, NOT ON AGE
Unlike other menstrual brands, at Lena we do not base our sizing on age and birthing history. Choose Lena Large Sensitive if your flow is heavy and if you are looking for longer-lasting protection. Lena Cup (regular size) was the first menstrual cup I ever used, and it worked WONDERFUL. The first try was hard, but after a couple tries, I started to get the hang of it. I was afraid that it would be too hard for me to switch from pads/tampons to a cup, but it was much easier than I’d thought. Maybe I lucked out in finding a great cup that fit me on the first try. It never leaked, and I never felt it inside me. I just had to make sure to wet it before inserting to avoid discomfort. I loved it. But my cup soon had these weird bumps on it, and I waited about a year or two after I purchased the cup to reach out to customer service and ask why that happened. I had originally just wanted to know better so I could better take care of my cup. To my surprise, Rachel was super helpful with her tips (use mild, water-based soap that’s unscented!). She even sent me a free replacement cup. The Lena team is awesome for developing this wonderful cup and helping their customers! I’m so glad I switched to a cup, and I’m never turning back.
Using the Lena cup, as it is my first menstrual cup, has given me a lot more insight into my menstrual health and feels much more comfortable and clean once inserted. I don’t feel the same worry that I do using pads and tampons and I’m much more comfortable. I don’t have to worry about leaking during yoga practice, long work meetings, or while sleeping. This is novel for me and is a huge relief during my daily life. Also, as a trans individual, using a menstrual cup helps significantly with menstruation related gender dysphoria. A small cup would probably fit me better but I have a very heavy flow and ordered a large lena cup based on description for use. Due to the size, insertion is a bit uncomfortable. A thinner, or, more malleable, version of the material would most likely help this issue, as the size is perfect for a heavier flow. Hopefully as the company continues to grow, more products geared to healthier, safer, and comfortable menstruation cycles can be developed by this amazing team!
I will never go back to the traditional feminine products. The Lena cup is virtually leak proof and last all day or night. I have had 2 c-sections and typical use the small but depending on the month I some times use the large.
it took a little to figure out. but after that, i was amazed!
The sensitive cup works better for me. This one feels too stiff and a little uncomfortable for me.
