Lena Sensitive Cup
- Developed for Sensitive Anatomies
- Ideal for Teens and Adult Users
- Made in California
Lena Sensitive was developed for users with more sensitive anatomies or with sensitive bladders.
Lena Sensitive is perfect for users of all ages, experience level and physique and offers the same 12h protection as our classic model.
Lena Sensitive is an ideal partner for your Lena Classic and can offer you further relief from cramps during your most painful days.
Most people can wear either size Lena Cup but choose one over the other primarily based on flow amount, cervix height and general physique. Unlike other brands, at Lena we do not believe that age and birthing history play a significant role in choosing a menstrual cup. Mothers with multiple births are happily using LENA Small while teenagers, with a heavy flow, choose LENA Large.
Lena Small is ideal for users with a Normal flow and Lena Large is suited for people with a Heavy flow. You can visit our Sizing Guide page for further guidelines.
LENA SMALL FOR SENSITIVE ANATOMIES
One of the smallest menstrual cups on the market, Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for individuals with sensitive anatomies, especially more sensitive bladders. Our sensitive cup is also a great companion to our classic Lena Cup for your first and more sensitive period days
A GENTLER OPTION
Made of slightly softer silicone than our classic Lena Cups, Lena Sensitive is still perfectly suited for all physical activities and offers a comfortable and leak-free period. Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for users of all ages and body types
AS NATURE INTENDED
Abnormal pap smears, rashes and yeast infections have been linked to the use of pads and tampons. Choose a healthier period – Lena Cups collect only your blood without drying out your vagina
SENSITIVE AND TRUSTED
Lena Large Sensitive has the same high collection capacity as our classic Lena Large Cup and allows for users with sensitive anatomies to have a more comfortable period
SIZING BASED ON FLOW AMOUNT, NOT ON AGE
Unlike other menstrual brands, at Lena we do not base our sizing on age and birthing history. Choose Lena Large Sensitive if your flow is heavy and if you are looking for longer-lasting protection. I am so so impressed! I was incredibly worried about using a cup because I thought I had a heavy flow... i used to change tampons every 2 hours, but using the Lena cup I only had to rinse 3-4 times a day! WHAT?! It’s comfortable and easy to use as long as you’re comfortable with yourself down there. Taking it out is the hardest part, but still doesn’t hurt like tampons sometimes would. I will never use a tampon again! I’m so glad I decided to give this a try!
This is my second Lena cup purchase! My first one I had for a little over a year...I did not take great care of it, it could have lasted me longer if I followed the care guidelines! This is a great cup for first-time menstrual cup users, it gets the job done and once you get the hang of it, your period week is made so much easier.
I'm going to be completely honest here. The first couple days with this cup were rough. Not because of this particular cup, but just menstrual cups in general. It definitely takes you through a learning curve that makes you want to give up because sometimes it hurts SO bad to put the cup in and pull it out. But after a few days of trying, I honestly ended up loving this cup. It's sooo much easier to use than 100 pads and tampons for 1 period. Seriously, it's awesome, just takes a bit to get used to.
I've been wanting to switch to a cup for ages, and after careful research online + talking to friends I concluded Lena would be best for me. "Soft enough to easily fold for insertion, firm enough to open on its own and create a strong seal."
So far so good in that regard! I definitely had the insertion learning curve, and am far from being a pro with removal, but it's been great to put it in first thing in the morning, and then not have to worry about changing anything for the rest of the day.
Viva la Lena!
I absolutely LOVE my Lena cup! It took me two or so cycles to get the hang of it and feel comfortable and confident using it. I've used o.b. tampons for years, which don't have applicators so the switch wasn't too drastic. With the cup, I don't ever feel it, once you're confident with the removal and insertion it's so much better than a tampon. I'm truly in love with this purchase, definitely never going back to tampons, I would say it's changed my life!
Although I now have great things to say about it, I don't want to minimize the learning curve. For me cups were never talked about, I did a lot of research before I bought my cup and I was still a bit worried if they were safe, if I would be able to make it work, if I could even get it out... I don't know anyone who uses a cup so I couldn't ask how they like it or if it is safe. While I was doing research, i found a huge disparity between, 'this is great!' and 'this is dangerous and will cause walls to collapse.' If you're looking for a source of information to know what cup would work for you, I found the PutACupInIt ladies extremely helpful!
