Lena Sensitive Cup
- Sensitive Anatomies / Cramps
- Teens and Adult Users
- Made in California
Lena Sensitive was developed for users with more sensitive anatomies or with sensitive bladders.
Lena Sensitive is perfect for users of all ages, experience level and physique and offers the same 12h protection as our classic model.
Lena Sensitive is an ideal partner for your Lena Classic and can offer you further relief from cramps during your most painful days.
Most people can wear either size Lena Cup but choose one over the other primarily based on flow amount, cervix height and general physique. Unlike other brands, at Lena we do not believe that age and birthing history play a significant role in choosing a menstrual cup. Mothers with multiple births are happily using LENA Small while teenagers, with a heavy flow, choose LENA Large.
Lena Small is ideal for users with a Normal flow and Lena Large is suited for people with a Heavy flow. You can visit our Sizing Guide page for further guidelines.
LENA SMALL FOR SENSITIVE ANATOMIES
One of the smallest menstrual cups on the market, Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for individuals with sensitive anatomies, especially more sensitive bladders. Our sensitive cup is also a great companion to our classic Lena Cup for your first and more sensitive period days
A GENTLER OPTION
Made of slightly softer silicone than our classic Lena Cups, Lena Sensitive is still perfectly suited for all physical activities and offers a comfortable and leak-free period. Lena Small Sensitive is ideal for users of all ages and body types
AS NATURE INTENDED
Abnormal pap smears, rashes and yeast infections have been linked to the use of pads and tampons. Choose a healthier period – Lena Cups collect only your blood without drying out your vagina
SENSITIVE AND TRUSTED
Lena Large Sensitive has the same high collection capacity as our classic Lena Large Cup and allows for users with sensitive anatomies to have a more comfortable period
SIZING BASED ON FLOW AMOUNT, NOT ON AGE
Unlike other menstrual brands, at Lena we do not base our sizing on age and birthing history. Choose Lena Large Sensitive if your flow is heavy and if you are looking for longer-lasting protection. I was highly skeptical to switching from tampons to a menstrual cup, but I’m glad I did. I chose Lena because many reviews rated it as a good choice for beginner’s. There is a learning curve similar to teaching yourself to use eye contacts. After one cycle I’ve converted to menstrual cups and I will continue to use Lena products from now on.
At 4 months postpartum I wanted to start using my old brand of menstrual cup again. However, after some significant tearing during labor it just wasn’t comfortable to use the old style I had before. The softer, more flexible material of this cup made it possible to use a menstrual cup again and I am happy to be avoiding tampons and disposable pads.
I switched to using a cup 6 years ago. After lots of research I chose to try Lena first. It's been life changing. Here I am 6 years later buying more. Wouldn't switch to any other brand.
Tips: Cups have a bit of a learning curve but it's not a brand problem, just a learning curve. Also, cut the long stem and ridges. Much more comfortable.
I've been a keen user of the original LENA cup as I love the shape and the grips rings on the bottom of the cup. (I usually have to cut the stem of all the cups that I use since my cervix sits low and the stem is always irritating and get painful over time.) After using the original LENA for about 5 years my body changed a little and started to be more sensitive to the density of the cup, especially when going nb 2. Sooo, now I am super excited for the LENA sensitive version and I love it!! It brings back the original "I love LENA - feeling"! The cup is the only thing I need - nice softness, fantastic bell-shape, solid grip rings. Since I am planning to get pregnant soon, I ordered the 2-size set, just in case my body changes again and I might need a size up. The LENA team was so nice to give me an additional cup for free, which I gave to a friend who wanted to try a menstrual cup for a while and obviously LENA is the best one to start with!
